Oak Crest’s Winery’s wines, warm hospitality and friendly atmosphere will leave you wanting more at this family farm winery. They feature wine tasting, a picnic area, light fare, as well as an artisan’s gift shop. The Thurman Brisben Center is the only emergency homeless shelter in all of planning district 16, which includes the City of Fredericksburg and the counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania and Stafford. The center serves men, women and children and is classified as a programmatic facility which offers homeless individuals and families an on-site safe and structured program to help them achieve and maintain self-sufficiency and independence.
